Mudcor Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Mudcor service ("Service"), operated by Ollo LLC ("Mudcor," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information. It applies to our browser extensions, dashboard, network protection features, and related websites. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
Mudcor is built to be privacy-protective by design. We collect as little information as we can while still providing the Service, and we do not sell personal information.
Our Core Privacy Commitment
The Service helps organizations reduce the risk of sensitive information being shared with third-party artificial intelligence and other online tools. To do this, the Service records information about activity, not the content of that activity. In ordinary operation, the text a person types, pastes, or uploads is evaluated locally and is not transmitted to us or stored by us. What we receive is limited, non-content information such as that an event occurred, its category, and the tool involved.
Information We Handle
Account information. When an organization signs up, we handle basic details needed to create and manage the account, such as name, work email address, and organization name, provided through a third-party sign-in provider.
Activity metadata. We handle non-content records describing protected activity, such as the type of event, the category involved, the tool or destination, and timing. These records are designed not to contain the underlying content.
Billing information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full payment card details; we handle only the limited subscription and billing status information needed to manage your account.
Service and diagnostic information. We handle limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, such as coverage status and error signals.
We do not require, and ask that you do not provide, special categories of sensitive personal information beyond what is described here.
How We Use Information
We use the information we handle only to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
- authenticate users and manage accounts and subscriptions;
- produce the summaries, reports, and alerts that are part of the Service;
- provide support and communicate with you about the Service; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
How Information Is Shared
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting, sign-in, payment processing, and email delivery), under obligations to protect the information and use it only to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mudcor, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not share your activity metadata with third parties for their own purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Activity metadata is retained on a limited, rolling basis. You may request deletion of your organization's data, and the Service provides the ability to delete an organization's data, after which we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to limited retention required by law or for legitimate business records.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we handle only limited account and metadata information, these requests are generally straightforward. To exercise a right, contact us at compliance@mudcor.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Where we act as a processor on behalf of a customer organization, we will direct individual requests to that organization and support it in responding.
International Data
We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. Customers with specific data-location or data-protection requirements may request a separate data processing addendum.
Children
The Service is intended for business use by organizations and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Policy or notifying you through the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
